剧情简介
Evelyn Carter, a bright young girl from a poor background, receives a specialadmission spot to Seran Academy, an elite noblerun school. She soon discovers the campus is a huntinggroundlike power arena ruled by the Disciplinary Council, heirs of four great families. To survive and graduate safely, she deliberately hides her beauty and talent, acting meek and compliant. Alexander Blackwood, head of the council, notices her unusual calm and sharp observation and allows her access to the inner circle. Meanwhile Rosalind Hayes, leader of the socalled Mutual Aid Society under the banner of resistance, exploits disadvantaged students to gain personal fame. Navigating constant surveillance from the council and schemes from Rosalind, Evelyn takes office as secretary of the Disciplinary Council and fights for her own survival amid brutal campus power games.
