剧情简介
Valentina discovers her fiancé Marco cheating with her best friend Serena on the eve of their wedding. Crushed, she gets drunk and spends one night with a stranger, only to learn he is Marco’s father, mafia don Dante. To her shock, Dante is the man she risked her life to save and has searched for five years. When Marco threatens her parents to force the marriage and retaliates relentlessly, Dante shields Valentina time and again. She gradually realizes true love is not control and humiliation, but trust and protection. As plots escalate, Valentina stops being merely a protected victim and strikes back, standing side by side with Dante to face kidnappings, assaults and vengeance. In the end, Marco is cast out of the family. Valentina’s parents regain their freedom, and she marries Dante, who has waited for her for five years, becoming the true matriarch of the Castellano family.
