To escape a marriage arranged by her daughter-in-law, Rosalind Warren lies about remarrying. Chairman Crawford does the same to let his daughter go abroad without worry, and the two enter a fake marriage. A year later, Rosalind Warren, now a cleaner, meets Chairman Crawford again, but neither recognizes the other.
