Orphan Leo Hayes inherits The Dead Mire. Bullied, Leo activates the Fish God System, gaining "Fish Critical Strike" to transform fish. He contracts with Selene Shaw. Gordon Zane poisons Leo's pond. System's "Toxin Refinement" turns poison. Gordon poisons fish at the Provincial Aquaculture Competition. Leo uses system abilities, exposes conspiracy, and with "Ascension Touch," evolves fish, winning. Gordon kidnaps Selene Shaw, forcing Leo to choose: protect his achievements or save her.
