Synopsis
When a modern girl wakes up inside a vampire novel, she does not land in a penthouse suite — she wakes as a mud-caked beggar in the rain-slicked alleys of the human district. That is Lila's unlucky start, and it gets stranger fast. Through an ancient bloodline telepathy, Elias, Isolde, Arthur and Kai eavesdrop on her endless inner monologue — her jokes about stealing gold plates, her escape daydreams, and, most importantly, her encyclopedic knowledge of the original novel's plot. They quietly treat her like a living oracle, plying her with endless feasts on jeweled gold plates and even opening the family
